Novak Djokovic and his unbreakable record

Wally Masur is an Australian coach and commentator who also played tennis for more than a decade. Now, he works as an expert and has recently been interviewed by Nine Network. He talked about watching Bjorn Borg and Pete Sampras achieving more than ten Grand Slam titles, and calling it a benchmark. He didn’t believe anyone could break the record, and then the world got to witness the era of the ‘Big 3’.

Masur said, “When I watch (Bjorn) Borg, when he’s 11 and then (Pete) Sampras on 13, I’m going, ‘Well, that’s the benchmark, no one will beat that’ and then in one generation three players get 20 plus. I’m like, ‘How is that possible? How is that even possible?'”

For Masur, the accomplishment was unbelievable, and he wondered how it was possible. He further said, No one got a look in. Andy (Murray) and Stan Wawrinka got a little look in here and there. It was just incredible. So the idea that someone can get more than Novak, I’m gonna say no way.”

With the new season being just a few days away, fans will be excited to see the Djoker step into the Australian Open at the prime of his life and win his 11th slam. As he prepares to play against the youngsters, Rick Macci believes he is not ready to give them the chance to win.

Rick Macci believes Djokovic will hold his chances tightly

Serena Williams’ childhood coach recently sat for an interview where he talked about Novak Djokovic’s continued dominance. He first fell in love with the Djoker’s game when he saw him in his younger years. He became an instant fan and was right about his predictions.

As Djokovic continues to play, Macci believes that he is not going to let the younger players have an easy time against him. The 24-time grand slam champion is not willing to pass the torch easily, and the younger ATP stars will have to snatch it for him.

There is only one way for them to usher in Novak Djokovic’s era of dominance, and it is by thoroughly beating him in any event he plays. Do you think anyone will be up for the challenge?
