‘How They Dress Up Like Big Foe?’- Novak Djokovic ’s Cheeky Dig at American Star Frances Tiafoe’s ‘Talk of the Town’ Bizarre Attire

At the 2023 Australian Open, the Nole made a cheeky comment about American star Frances Tiafoe’s attire. Novak Djokovic referred to him as “Big Foe” and stated that his clothes were the talk of the tournament.

Djokovic referenced Tiafoe’s unusual clothing choices on the court, which have generated conversation among fans and commentators. His striking and vibrant wardrobe choices amaze fans on the court. His outfit usually includes bright colors and bold patterns.

Djokovic, however, took a different stance on Tiafoe’s fashion choices. In his comment, he joked that Tiafoe’s attire was the main topic of conversation at the tournament, rather than the tennis itself. He also compared Tiafoe’s look to that of a “Big Foe,” a playful dig at the American player’s nickname.

The Serb was asked about his thoughts on American tennis style and he responded by saying,Or how they dress up like Big Foe?” This comment was a reference to Tiafoe’s bizarre attire at the recent tournament, which became the talk of the town.

He added that the North American style of tennis is different from Europe, eastern Europe particularly, or South America. The Serb further added,”  I think each part of the world has a different school of tennis, so to say, and style.”

Despite Djokovic’s comment, Tiafoe has received a lot of positive attention for his fashion choices. His bold and colorful outfits have attracted fans all over the world. Many athletes and fans praised him for being unafraid to express himself through his clothing.

Novak Djokovic described the North American’s style in the talk. He claimed it as being focused on powerful and accurate service. Djokovic claimed it as an aggressive style that comes to the net. He also mentioned that some of the biggest champions of the sport from the United States had different styles, such as John McEnroe, Pete Sampras, and Andre Agassi.

Tiafoe’s latest antics on the court have left the tennis world and fans baffled

The American put on a strong performance at the Australian Open. However, Russian player Karen Khachanov eliminated Tiafoe from the event in a 4-set match. However, during the game, Tiafoe caused a stir by throwing a tennis ball into the crowd. Although the umpires took note of the incident, they did not take any action against the player.

Many members of the tennis community were baffled by the lack of  repercussions for Tiafoe’s actions.

Numerous fans called out the umpires for not issuing a warning. Fans also criticized what they perceived as a double standard.

They claimed that other players would have faced a different outcome for the same behavior.

A video of the incident circulated on social media, with fans pointing out that no warning was given by the umpire. The backlash on social media called out the apparent unequal treatment of players by officials.
