What does Spain think of Nadal?
The survey was held in Spain a few days back to check what his home crowd thinks of Nadal. In that, most people voted in the favor of the former World no.1. The common people believe that he would be an ideal boss. They say, “He is humble, honest and passionated.”

Further, following Nadal, Margarita del Val, the Spanish chemist, immunologist, and virologist garnered the most votes and after her, in the third place, was the founder and executive chairman of Amazon, Jeff Bezos.
Speaking of the Spaniard, he is currently spending some time off the court. He had an injury-ridden yet successful season and the 2022 Laver Cup was the last tournament he participated in.

Roger Federer, his biggest rival and best friend, marked the end of his in the event. Therefore, to be by his side and provide him with emotional support, Nadal played alongside Federer. They locked horns with Team World’s American duo, Frances Tiafoe and Jack Sock, and after dragging the match till the third set, incurred a 6-4 6-7(2) 9-11 defeat.
Rafael Nadal welcomes his firstborn
The 14-time French Open champion became a father last Saturday. He, with wife Maria Francisca Perello on 8th October, welcomed their firstborn. They have been blessed with a baby boy whom they have named Rafael.

The couple tied the knot in the year 2019 and broke the happy news of them expecting a new addition to their family in June this year. Post that, the 35-year-old participated in the Wimbledon Championships and the US Open.

With Nadal welcoming his first child, his participation in the season-ending Nitto ATP Finals in Turin is in doubt. However, considering the Spaniard’s impressive season to date, he will be looking to end the year on a high by lifting the ATP Finals for the first time.
