Boris Becker was overwhelmed as he shared a message with his fans
The 6-time singles Grand Slam champion is back in his home country after dealing with his legal troubles that led to his deportation from the United Kingdom. The disgraced tennis star got to celebrate the festive season with his family after his return to Germany. The former German tennis player also has been grateful to have people who stood by his side during his troubles. Notably, Boris Becker thanked them for their love and support in his emotional message.
Becker was spotted on an island as he recorded a video of himself while sharing a message with his fans. He said, “Well, it’s the last day of the year, and I want to say a couple of words to all my loved ones and the people that respect me and stood by me in a truly difficult. I call this the most difficult year of my life. But it’s done, it’s dusted. I came out alive. I think I came out stronger. I think my mental health is better than ever before.”

Becker further addressed those people who still respected and supported him despite his imprisonment. He added, “But without the help and support and love and appreciation of so many people, I wouldn’t have made it. So, Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. A big shout out. Now let’s call it quits. 2022 is over. Thank you very much and see you next year.”

Becker celebrated Christmas with his family
The news that he was getting released from prison thrilled the former tennis player’s family. After a difficult period, Becker finally reunited with his family, especially his 87-year-old mother.
Back in Germany, the disgraced tennis star also met his girlfriend, Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro. Even his son, Noah, was thrilled as he got to celebrate Christmas with his father, along with his mother, Elvira. She further called her son’s return the “best Christmas present” for her.
