Italian tennis prodigy Jannik Sinner expressed his relief at seeing his physio doing ok after an accident. Sinner was facing off against Christopher O’Connell in round sixteen of the ongoing Miami Open tournament. However, along with Siner’s tennis brilliance, a small comical incident grabbed the audience’s reactions at the match.

Jannik Sinner’s accidental stroke hit his Physio, Giacomo Naldi. It was during Sinner’s fourth-round match against O’Connell. The camera was spotted showcasing Naldi’s face after the incident and fans spotted him visibly holding his stomach. Nevertheless, the Italian tennis prodigy rushed back to Naldi and expressed his embarrassment.

The official X platform of the Tennis Channel shared a clip, where fans spotted Jannik Sinner returning a serve that directly hit his physiotherapist. The ball hit Naldi in a place that would force men to cry in pain. However, things didn’t go that bad. As Sinner went back to check on Naldi, all of them had a moment of laughter. This clip was shared with a caption that read- “Friendly fire @janniksin hits his physio with a wayward return… #MiamiOpen

While the camera spotted Jannik Sinner donning an awkward smile after the incident, he felt truly embarrassed. Post-match Sinner commented, “I hurt him. I still have to apologize, I hit him with the frame because the serve was in, and with the frame the ball went straight to him and in a really important point of our human being. I feel sorry for him, but hopefully it’s going to be all good.”
