Being overweight can lead to several mental and physical health issues. People go on several diets, exercise regimens, and more to reach what they consider a healthy weight. People also take inspiration from the stories of celebrities who go through a transformation. He detailed how, in school, he went to parties that contained a lot of fast food binges.

Coupled with a slow metabolism, it ended up being a disaster for his health. “Of course, all that time in front of a monitor began to take its toll, as my metabolism wasn’t nearly as fast as my buddies’. Our fast-food binges may’ve done nothing but fuel LAN parties. This pattern of eating wasn’t healthy.

He further went about explaining that he decided to change his attitude toward his health. He made a change to his diet in order to get healthy enough and play football before he graduated. “I got tired of being fat by my junior year of high school and decided to do something about it so I could get in good enough shape to play football before I graduated. Thanks to regular exercise and the abolition of soda and junk food, I lost fifty-nine pounds.

His life changed quite a bit when he dropped the additional weight. As per Ohanian, his pediatrician could not believe he lost all the weight. Even his social status changed in school. From being known as the ‘pear-shaped fat kid’, he became known as the kid who was ‘easy-on-the-eyes’.

And to this day, I can’t believe how differently people treat me. To have been the “pear-shaped fat kid” for all those formative years and then join the ranks of the easy-on-the-eyes crowd is like turning on another life cheat code.
