Rafael Nadal, the king on the Clay, extends his relationship with the tournament even deeper with his Roland Garros Theme restaurant. The décor at the restaurant in Manacor includes pictures of some of the biggest stars in the history of the tournament, including Rafa and Chris Evert.

The restaurant is part of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar extension project, which already has US Open and Australian Open themed spaces before. American Tennis star Chris Evert gives a shimmery reply to the interiors.

Nadal’s Roland-Garros restaurant

The official site has released the restaurant’s interior photos and video as soon as it was operational. Without any question, Rafa was the 1st dinner of the lavish eatery. Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar’s team of chefs and nutritionists have designed the menu.

With a capacity of 60 dinners at a time, the restaurant will be open all 7 days for lunch and dinner. On Sunday’s it will serve brunch between 10 am to 12 pm. They have provided mail id and telephone numbers for reservations.

Rafael Nadal, Chris Evert to shine on the “Wall of Fame”

The restaurant, sticking to its theme salutes some of the biggest stars of the Clay court Major, by dedicating highlight walls for their photos. It of course includes 13-time French Open winner Rafael Nadal and Ladies record holder, 7-time winner Chris Evert.

Nadal’s 13 championships consist of 4 wins each, against Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic. Nadal who has an insane 105-3 record in the French Open looks perfect ambassador for the Restaurant. Only 2 players managed to topple Spaniard in Clay Major – Robin Soderling (2009) and Novak Djokovic (2015, 2021)

Chris Evert defeated 5 different opponents in 7 finals and lost just 3 sets. Her only challenger was legendary Martina Navratilova who managed to win 1 set in each of 3 finals encounters.

The restaurant also has photos of Swede Legend Bjorn Borg who won the championship on 6 occasions, 2nd most in the open Era history. Similarly, German Superstar and 6-time champion Steffi Graf can be seen on the Wall.
