Novak Djokovic, the Serbian tennis professional, is one of the megastars of this generation. He has won a whopping 20 Grand Slams and is the current World No.1. For a long time, the only players with the capability to challenge his records and achievements have been Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

However, in contrast to that, the big three share a rather sweet bond off-court. They usually congratulate each other on their achievements and provide backing when needed. Speaking of the bond, the Serb recently made a very interesting comparison. He spoke about musical instruments that accurately match the vibe of each of the Big Three.

Novak Djokovic shares a hilarious thought

The ATP No.1 while in an interview disclosed which instrument according to him suits the personalities of Federer, Nadal and himself. For Roger Federer, the Swiss tennis legend, he said, “Roger is a violin. I think that everybody would pick that.” Following that he mentioned the 21-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal and said, “For Nadal I need something energetic, so let’s say electric guitar or drums.”

Thereafter, after taking a small pause, he admitted, “And myself… I am a bit of everything, so I would be an orchestra, hahaha. No, let’s say saxophone, because it goes well with every type of music.”

Novak is currently participating in the French Open. On Sunday, in the round of 16, Djokovic defeated Diego Schwartzman. Thus, making it to his 16th French Open quarterfinals. He will be locking horns with his great rival and Spanish legend, Rafael Nadal, in the quarterfinals on Tuesday.

Djokovic is hopeful about the Australian Open

The 35-year-old found himself caught in an argument with the regulatory body of the Australian Open and the Government of Australia due to his decision to remain unvaccinated. Thereafter, a long legal battle meant that Djokovic was forced to leave Australia. In addition, the Australian policies stripped him of his visa rights for three years.

However, now that the Government of Australia has changed, Novak seems optimistic about playing in next year’s tournament. As he said, “I heard the news about the Australian government changing, but I don’t know what it means for my visa being reinstated. I would love to go to Australia again. I hold no grudges.”

Though an official statement from the other end is yet to be released. Nevertheless, tennis fans around the world will be hoping to see the nine-time Australian Open champion battling for the Grand Slam Down Under.
