ATP Dubai has taken a strange turn. While tennis players and fans are enjoying the event, for the French tennis player, Gael Monfils, the tournament has taken a tough turn. In the first round of the tournament, the 37-year-old tennis player suffered an unimaginable moment that left fans worried.

The former world-ranked 6th ranked tennis player, in the middle of the match, asked permission to take a pause and rushed out to vomit, leaving everyone tensed and worried. While the match started off swiftly, in the second set of the tournament, he asked to leave the court because of an emergency. Monfils said, “I need to vomit,” and made his way out of the court, for the moment. However, he came back later to keep his name in the tournament alive.

After making it to the Qatar Open semi-finals, things seemed to have fallen into the proper place for the 37-year-old tennis player, but the ATP Dubai brought a different story. While a video of the French tennis player leaving the court is going around on social media, it won’t be wrong to say that even after having a struggling comeback, he has a lot left to deal with.

After asking for permission without wasting a single moment, he not only shocked the tennis fans with what was happening but also left his opponent, Ugo Humbert, confused.  However, this is not something that happened because of the athletic pressure that is present on the court. It’s a whole different story. Let’s take a look at the reason behind what left the 37-year-old tennis player worried in the middle of the match.

The reason behind Monfils in-between emergency 

After the whole chaotic situation, the reason why he had to vomit in the middle of the match made headlines, and everybody was left amused after knowing the problem. He highlighted that he had eggs in the morning for breakfast, which apparently didn’t sit well in his stomach.
On the sarcastic front, just a few eggs left the 37-year-old tennis players speechless and uncomfortable in front of the crowd.
