Will Stan Wawrinka Take Part in the French Open?
Wawrinka’s run in Monte Carlo ended abruptly. He lost the very first game against Alexander Bublik, thus letting people spark questions about his form. While addressing the press after his defeat, he stumbled upon the question about his entry in the red clay of the French Open. To which he replied, “I will ask for a wildcard. That’s what I do for every tournament because I only have nine protected rankings I can use and I want to keep them.”
