Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal is one of the most notable ambassadors of this elegant sport. Over the years, one aspect that has remained common is the success he keeps attaining.

Rafael Nadal is a marquee figure

Recently, Alexis revealed a trading card produced by the NetPro Trading Card Company that he has of the 21-time Grand Slam winner. In the item that Ohanian possesses, Nadal is seen in his younger years, aiming to emerge as a great player. He posted the picture of it on social media and wrote, “I wonder how this junior tennis player will turn out.”

Coming to tennis, Nadal began the year on a great note, winning the Australian Open title. It was the second time he has won at the venue. He won previously in 2009 and now in 2022. However, he did come to the finals on a few occasions but failed to cross that one final hurdle. 

Nonetheless, a few months ago, he was still struggling to cope with his foot injury. For him to come back and win a Grand Slam title is a clear indication of the maestro that he is.

At the moment, he is competing in Acapulco in Mexico. He won his opening round match and will be facing American tennis player Stefan Kozlov. 

Moving on to Serena, she has been out of action for a while. She missed the US Open last season and followed that by skipping the Australian Open this year too. She has been dealing with injuries that have kept her out. 

Nonetheless, we wish her a speedy recovery and hope to see her competing at the highest level once again. All eyes will be on her when she steps on the courts.
