At 36, Rafael Nadal has defied age to prove why he is one of the best tennis players of all time. Yesterday, the Spaniard put on an incredible performance to defeat Casper Ruud in the final of the French Open 2022. In the process, Nadal clinched his 14th French Open and 22nd Grand Slam title overall.

There is no hiding the fact that Nadal has been troubled by injuries throughout his career. Earlier this year, he missed the Miami Open, Monte Carlos Masters, and the Barcelona Open due to a rib injury. Even at the recently concluded French Open, Nadal had to play with a foot injury that has troubled him for almost his entire career. After his win over Ruud, the Spaniard opened up about his worsening foot condition.
