Then, he opened up about a tough personal obstacle for himself. “When I was losing matches or- not being the person that I thought I should be, it was letting so many people down.” However, things changed for Kyrgios when he “stopped worrying about what they thought.”
Thus, personal success changed for him when he began to reaffirm himself by his own standards. He talked about looking at himself in the mirror and saying, “I am proud of who I am today. I help people, I try to be better each day.”
Kyrgios is grateful for his position in the world
Kyrgios acknowledged the privileged and rare position he enjoys in the world. He stated how there are very few people in the world who become professional athletes. Thus, he is proud of what he has achieved in his life and career.
He then talked about how everybody can pave their own path to success, and that there is “no straight line way to get to ‘making it’, or getting to the top.” Kyrgios repeatedly stressed how “there’s so many different paths to get there.”
You can achieve your dream and do it your way, says @NickKyrgios.

“Just know that you can do it your way,” Kyrgios emphasized as he described how every athlete is different, and thus, so is every individual.
Currently, things look bleak for the Aussie as he has contracted the coronavirus and has pulled out of the Sydney Tennis Classic tournament, ahead of the Australian Open. Hopefully, however, he’ll be able to recover in time for the Grand Slam.
