After the US Open 2021 triumph, Daniil Medvedev will be playing at the Laver Cup 2021. Surprisingly, the World No.2 player did something quite peculiar at the pre-tournament press conference.

A journalist from the Novak Tennis Center in Belgrade, Serbia, asked Medvedev something during the press conference. However, the Russian didn’t get the question because of some network issues. Interestingly, before asking him to repeat his question, he took a jibe at Novak Djokovic.
“First of all I think Novak has to improve the internet connection inside the center, because I heard only half question,” said Medvedev and then started laughing.
Started by Nole, the Novak Tennis Center currently has 14 tennis courts. Besides teaching children and youngsters, the Center also provides schooling to adults.

With the likes of Stefanos Tsitsipas, Daniil Medvedev, Alexander Zverev, and others, Team Europe will begin as the favourite at the Laver Cup 2021. However, Felix Auger Aliassime, Reilly Opelka, Nick Kyrgios, and others of Team World can pose a tough challenge to Team Europe.
Even though Team Europe won the last three editions of the Laver Cup under Bjorn Borg, John McEnroe and his Team World can cause quite a few upsets this time, especially in the absence of the ‘Big Three’. The Laver Cup 2021 will begin tomorrow and will extend till September 26, 2021. It will be taking place in Boston, the USA, this year.
