Back in 2018, both ATP players were ranked outside the top 50 rankings as they faced each other in their first meeting at the Miami Open. Things started to become quite contentious when both Tsitsipas and Medvedev took lengthy toilet breaks. Further, the Russian player was irked when his Greek opponent didn’t apologize after clinching a point when the ball hit the net cord.
