Ben Stiller meets Rafael Nadal in Indian Wells

The American actor caught up with his favorite tennis player, Rafael Nadal, and the Argentinian ace, Diego Schwartzman at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells.

Further, Stiller happens to be a huge fan of Rafael Nadal and spoke highly of the Spaniard recently at the Jimmy Fallon show. He said, “I love tennis. I play a little bit but I’m a huge Rafa Nadal fan, he’s just won the Australian Open. He just had the most incredible comeback of all time at the Australian Open.”

Opening up about meeting Nadal for the first time, Stiller said, “I got to know him a little bit about I don’t know, seven or eight years ago. He was at the tournament and we ran into his people and got introduced, so we sought of stayed in touch and he invited me a few years back to see an exhibition match at Madison Square Garden, which was really exciting.”

Additionally, he recounted hitting with Nadal there. Stiller teamed up with the Spaniard to play against Juan Martin del Potro and an eight-year-old girl at the Madison Square Garden.

As far as the ongoing Indian Wells Masters is concerned, Nadal had a difficult start to his campaign in the Californian desert. Eyeing his fourth title of the season, the Spaniard survived a scare in the second round against Sebastian Korda. However, he managed to come back in style to triumph in three sets.
