This match between Paul and Medvedev started with two break-points by the former and Paul also gained a lead by 4-0. After this, Paul showcased a great fight.

However, Medvedev also returned with his full form, and in the third set, he outshined the American tennis prodigy. While Paul didn’t show any signs of injury at the beginning, encountered an ankle roll in the tiebreak of the second set of their match.
