The tennis community can’t keep quiet as another edition of the Indian Wells Open begins in a week. Along with the outdoor hardcourt event, a popular food festival is also set to return, as it will not only delight the taste buds of connoisseurs but also some of the biggest names in the tennis community.

The “must-attend” annual event, Taste of Tennis, will feature some of the top chefs who’ll be serving attendees some of their signature cuisines from their restaurants. Both the ATP and WTA players are on the guest list, as they will get to savor various delicious delicacies and cocktails ahead of their participation in the BNP Paribas Open.

From the power couple of Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa to the Australian Open semifinalist Alexander Zverev, a number of prominent tennis figures will be headlining the food-tasting extravaganza. Apart from them, the likes of Zheng Qinwen, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, J.J. Wolf, Emma Navarro, and Alycia Parks will also make special appearances at the food event, which will be held at the Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Spa.

To add more to the excitement levels of the attendees, this season’s Taste of Tennis Indian Wells event will also feature a live art installation. The renowned muralist and award-winning filmmaker, Tysen Knight, has diligently taken up the duties of painting a mural on site. He is currently in the process of completing his upcoming art piece, which will be completed live at the Indian Wells Open by himself and also with the help of players in attendance.

Who is the headlining chef at this season’s Taste of Tennis Indian Wells event?

This season’s event will feature Angelo Sosa as the head chef, as he will also be debuting his two new restaurants, Tia Carmen and Carmocha. Sosa, who is known for his appearance on Bravo’s ‘Top Chef,’ will be serving some of his signature delicacies and cocktails to the guests at the resort.

With considerable experience in the industry, these top chefs are considered food connoisseurs’s favorites. Along with delicious food and drinks, the attendees will also get to shake a leg to music by DJ Danny Castillo and musician Jared Harper.
