Holger Rune has opened up about his thoughts on Rafael Nadal several times. Back when the Spaniard was making a comeback in Brisbane, Rune came forward to support his move, showcasing his fanship for the tennis legend.

The young Dan, after being in a practice session with Rafa, said, “It’s funny, after the practice today I talked to my team and I thought he (Nadal) played unbelievable. He was hitting strong, he always used to hit strong also. But then we started points and I thought he was moving really well, moving side to side extremely fast and I think the intensity he brings is incredible.”

As both the players stand with a chance to face each other at the highly anticipated tournament, it still remains to be seen which side the fans will pick this time.
