“should only have night matches” – Ben Shelton opened up about the daytime reality in Atlanta

In a recent revelation, Ben Shelton came up with a unique request. The proposal? “Hot take like Andy Murray… Unpopular opinion: a tournament like Atlanta in the summer should only have night matches like they do in Acapulco, stadium here is always packed, and a few other tournaments. Would be better for the fans for sure and probably end up with bigger crowds. Daytime in ATL in July is unbearable,” wrote Shelton in his Instagram story.

The thought is that this format, with packed nighttime stadiums, could make the experience more thrilling for fans and attract bigger crowds. The reasoning behind this idea is the scorching July daytime temperatures in Atlanta, make it tough for players and spectators. By going all-in on night matches, Shelton thinks that it will create a more feasible environment for all the fans and make them want to watch more games with excitement.
