Former World No. 1 Andy Murray got off to a brilliant start at the Wimbledon Championships 2021. He recently won his second-round match against Oscar Otte at the Grand Slam and played some really amazing tennis, especially in the last set.

A lot of tennis legends and athletes are praising Andy Murray for his phenomenal show at the Wimbledon Championships 2021. One of them is the captain of the Everton Football Club, Seamus Coleman. He revealed that he watched Murray’s comeback documentary, and that inspired him as well.

?To see him back doing what he is doing is incredible. I watched the documentary on him when he was trying to come back from his hip problem and it was brilliant. The financial need is not there for him to do what he does, but he still has that desire and that passion to play his sport and try to get back to the top,” said Coleman in a recent interview.

Coleman highlighted that Murray has been playing some really incredible tennis at Wimbledon. He also stated that one can still see the desire to succeed in him.

Seamus Coleman compares Andy Murray to Cristiano Ronaldo

In an interesting statement, Coleman also compared Murray to football legend, Cristiano Ronaldo. He emphasized that just like Ronaldo, Murray has the urge to win and be the best player.

Interestingly, Murray himself is a big fan of Ronaldo. The Portuguese legend even gifted Murray a brand new T-shirt recently.

Currently, Murray is in the third round of the Wimbledon Championships 2021 where he’ll face Denis Shapovalov. Fans have huge expectations from him and want him to deliver. Will he be able to win his third Wimbledon title this year?
