Nadal’s former coach and uncle Toni Nadal cleared the clouds and gave a statement about his participation in the upcoming major. He said, “Yes, Rafael plays in Wimbledon. He is planning to train on the sidelines of the Mallorca Open from Monday.”

Further, the 36-year-old has been struggling with this issue since the initial years of his professional career. Nadal recently revealed that he was depending on anesthesia to help him fight his major battles. However, now he is looking for a permanent cure.

Toni and Rafael Nadal paired in the year 1990 and became the best duo in tennis. The former World No.1 debuted under Toni’s guidance and captured 16 major titles. Thus, making the player-coach duo the most successful in tennis history.
