At just 16, he made it to the Junior Wimbledon finals, where he played against Taiwan’s Tseng Chun-hsin. Despite losing in three sets, Draper made a mark not just for his skills but also for the notable encounter with the now Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, and the Duchess of Sussex. What made the headlines was the fact that the two waited in line to shake his hand.

Thus, despite being just 16 years old, the love and attention that he got despite losing the final is simply heartwarming. Now, carrying the weight of Britain on his shoulders, the ace-king would certainly love to drive the results and make many fall in love with him because, for him, he enjoys people watching him play on the court.

In tennis, there can be moments where the limits of any player can be tested. However, for Draper, he seems to be enjoying it. In an interview, he came ahead and suggested that it is his job to go out there in front of the crowd and bring out his best game. This is something that he loves. Moreover, he suggested that the more people watch, the better it is for him.

‘It’s my job to go out there and play in front of whoever it is – and the more people watching, or the more significant the people watching, the better,’ said Draper in the interview.
Thus, Jack Draper, who has already been accustomed to fame enjoys people watching him and it gives him the motivation to keep going.
