After overpowering Jack Draper, Sinner attended a press conference and spoke about handling the American crowd in the finals. “I mean it’s right that atmosphere is that what’s going to be. I mean we are in America, we are in New York playing against an American so it’s going to be for sure the crowd a little bit more on their side but it’s normal. It’s like when I play in Italy no? So, it’ a bit the same so I’m going to accept that,” he said.

Sinner’s statement expressed how prepared he was to encounter a crowd in Arthur Ashe that would strictly want an American to win the slam. While it is challenging, Sinner has his strategy prepared for that.

After defeating Draper, Sinner maintained his humble personality while speaking about his expectations for the finals. While he appeared very grounded, he expressed great confidence for the Grand Slam. “Yeah I’m just happy to be in the final here, Whoever it is, it’s gonna be a very tough challenge for me but I’m just looking forward to it. The season I’m going through is very, very positive,” said the Italian.

After winning the 2024 Australian Open, this is Sinner’s second time entering a Grand Slam finals. He is the first ATP player born after 1988 to reach the semifinals of all four majors.
