Jannik Sinner Loyalists Display Highest Level of Creativity as They Showcase Support to the Italian Ahead of ATP World Tour Finals

A garden without carrots is just like a day without sunshine. Similarly, Jannik Sinner’s matches without the Carota is like a match made a little less sprightly. Fan clubs and super-fans aren’t something new to the new tennis world. Novak Djokovic has ‘NoleFam‘, Roger Federer has his ‘RF Fan Club‘ and even Rafael Nadal has die-hard passionate supporters. But with the next generation of players comes the newest generation of fans, adding more creativity and passion to the sport. One of the most unique fan bases in tennis belongs to 22-year-old Italian tennis player, Jannik Sinner.

The number 4 in men’s singles ranking has been in great form ever since his exit from the US Open this year. Sinner has won 13 out of the 14 matches which he played recently. He won the China Open and Vienna Open last month, and now he aims to end the season with a victory on his home soil. Can he do it? Well, the creative Carota surely has his back in Turin this time.

The Carota is a group of enthusiastic Italian tennis fans hailing from Revello, Cuneo province and comprising 6 Carota boys who all dress like carrots. Carrot 1 is Lorenzo who’s also an avid traveler, number 2 is Francesco who is a lover of the racket sport, Alessando is a music lover and he’s number 3, Alberto is number 4, coffee lover Gianluca is 5 and Carrot number 6 is Enrico. They claim that their unique presentation has been inspired by Jannik Sinner’s red hair and his love for carrot -.beginning at the 2019 Vienna Open when Sinner was seen eating a carrot during the changeover.

In their latest show of support, the Carota will cheer for Jannik Sinner from the stands of Pala Alpitour at the Nitto ATP Finals – announcing it in the most creative ways. In the pantominig clip, the carrot who’s supposedly the groom, hilariously leaves the bride to support Jannik Sinner in the season-ending event. In their defense, they even apologized to the bride for having other priorities in their life.

Jannik Sinner is perhaps the luckiest to have such a passionate group of fan base in the sports world. Sinner met the boys for the first time at the US Open this year and even clicked a selfie with them. Can the carrots help Jannik Sinner end the season with a bright smile?

From skiing prodigy to Wimbledon semi-finalist, Sinner has come a long way

Jannik Sinner’s first love was skiing, and then tennis came much later. The 22-year-old tennis player had reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon earlier this year. Now he looks to compete with the highest-ranked players in the men’s tournament in front of his home fans. Sinner now hopes to bring smiles to the faces of his wonderful fans by winning as many matches as he can in the event. He had recently withdrawn his name from the Round of 16 in the Paris Masters. Sinner cited fatigue and health reasons for his last-minute decision.

Now, the number 4 had already started training at Cirocolo della Stampa Sporting, Torino ahead of the ATP Finals. His aim is quite clear now. He wants to end the season on a higher note defeating the bests in the game. Can the Carota boys bring the A-game out of the Italian icon in tennis? Surely, the player and his hardcore fans must be replenishing their armory ahead of their journey to Torino.
