Then 10 years later in 1988, his brother Patrick McEnroe followed in his footsteps to become a pro tennis player. The 57-year-old former captain of the US Davis Cup team had a very respectable career. He had reached the semifinals of the Australian Open in 1991. His 10-year career span includes 1 singles title and 16 doubles titles. Then after retirement, he went on to become a prominent broadcaster.
