While the other US teammates have already been a part of the team event, this year all eyes will be on Eubanks to see what he brings to the table for the team. However, a few months ago, he snubbed his dream Wimbledon run that he came across last year as his favorite moment of the year on the court.
When Eubanks looked back to his 2023 tennis season
After having a year full of firsts and new opportunities, a few months ago, in an interview with Sports Illustrated, he looked back on his best time on the court. He said, “Maybe Miami, third round [against] Grégoire Barrère, just because I’ve never in my life felt that much emotion on a tennis court—and still haven’t. Even winning Mallorca wasn’t as emotional as I was right after that third-round match.”

Not only that, he even thought about his Wimbledon quarter-final run, but he highlighted that it wasn’t that emotional, and it was kind of like smiling on a laughing journey. And now this year’s first will be his Davis Cup participation.
