‘Left on Front Doorstep’ – Andy Roddick Gets an Adorable Request From a Mysterious Fan

Former American tennis star Andy Roddick has been one of the finest tennis players of his time. And has won some memorable games against top players like Swiss legend Roger Federer; credit to his consistent performance. The American turned pro in the year 2000 and had kept rising in the ranks.
He topped the chart for ATP rankings in the year 2003. The former world number one declared his retirement in the year 2012, leaving behind a gracious career. Although, it has been almost 10 years since his retirement now. The former US Open champion is still pretty popular among fans.

Recently, the 39 years old shared an adorable picture of a fan’s demand for his autograph in a rather unique manner.
Andy Roddick receives a Special fan demand note on his doorstep
Roddick recently shared the picture of an adorable fan request note left by someone at his doorstep with a tennis ball. The only thing written on the note was a request to sign the ball, with no detail about the fan. Sharing it on Twitter, the 39 years old wrote, “Left on front doorstep….. no other context.”

The former world number 1 was kind enough to act on the request from the unknown fan, as he later shared an update about the same. He signed and put the ball back at the same place he picked it up from and probably it was picked up by the fan.

The gesture from the 39-year-old would have surely made his day. If only, the writer of note picked it up.

Andy Roddick has been pretty active as a tennis expert after his retirement. He never shies away from giving his opinion on the current crop of tennis players. One player from the current generation who he admires is the World’s number one Iga Swiatek.

The 39 years old has always had high praise for the 20 years old. On one occasion, Roddick compared Swiatek to the boxing legend, Mike Tyson. Complimenting her ruthless approach to the game. He lauded the way she doesn’t waste any time as she steps into the court and starts attacking upfront. Just like Mike Tyson used to do in his playing days.
