The Spanish tennis star, Rafael Nadal, with his flawless performances on the court, has won a slew of fans. Notably, the renowned Harry Potter actor’s book, ‘Madly, Deeply: The Diaries of Alan Rickman,’ perfectly describes the French Open champion’s prowess on the court.

In his book, Rickman talked about some of, the most iconic performances of the 22-time singles Grand Slam champion. Being a huge fan of Nadal, Rickman openly revealed that he prefers Nadal’s openness to some of the greatest players including Roger Federer. A tennis fan recently took note of Alan Rickman’s book in which he lavished praise on Rafael Nadal. The fan further used his online platform to reveal that he was hugely surprised when he found out the Harry Potter film series actor was a huge tennis fan. He stated, “Just finished reading this. Never knew Alan Rickman was such a big tennis fan! It’s clear he had impeccable taste too 😉”

A slew of other fans took note of Rickman’s book in which he praised Nadal. Notably, in his book, Rickman stated, “I prefer Nadal’s openness to Federer’s, well, closedness tit was yin and yang to a kind of perfection.”

As a result and fans were ecstatic when they found out about Rickman’s admiration for the 22-time singles Grand Slam champion. Notably, one of the fans stated, “Ah even in the early days Rafa earned a good rep. Thanks for sharing – nice!! Wonder if Rafa knows Alan Rickman was a fan!”

Some of the fans further mentioned Rickman’s renowned role as Severus Snape in the Harry Potter film series. While considering that, one of the fans stated, “Severus Snape was a Rafan.Bad guy Djokovic.😭😂”

In his book, Rickman also talked about the Serbian tennis legend, Novak Djokovic and Swedish tennis legend, Björn Borg. He stated, “Wrong man (Djokovic)-all triumph and ego- won but Bjorn Borg came over and asked for a photograph.”
