Chris Evert was wowed by the energy Carlos Alcaraz showcased during the second round of the French Open. While playing against fellow Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas, the 19-year-old secured a splendid match point in the fourth set. The match point, in turn, fueled him to take the fourth set and following one. Evert was stunned by his performance and energy as he looked extremely fresh while his opponent was physically drained in the fifth set. Therefore, she said, “This guy, he came jumping out of the womb, probably. He is like a jumping bean. He has endless energy.”

Further, the seven times French Open champion Evert added,

Carlos Against Sebastian Korda

Alcaraz is all set to play against the American tennis professional Sebastian Korda in the third round of the Roland Garros. He will meet Korda for the third time. Further, whoever wins the upcoming match will break the tie and take a lead in the head-to-head record. Currently, their scores are at a tie at one victory each.

Speaking of clay, the last time that they squared off, Korda won 7-6 (2), 6-7 (5), 6-3  in the 2 round in 2022 Monte Carlo Masters. However, after that, Carlos defeated two of this generation’s big three, Nadal and Djokovic. Therefore, the current World No.6 can walk out of Korda’s Monte Carlo impression with ease and take a victory. They will have a face off on 28th may for a seat in the fourth round of French Open.
