This particular tweet from Portnoy was in reference to the match that Norrie lost against Harry Styles super-fan, Andrey Rublev, in the recently concluded US Open 2022. As per Dave Portnoy, he lost a bet of $30000 on Cameron Norrie at this year?s US Open. But in return, Portnoy received a tennis racquet from Cameron Norrie as a gift.

The umpire warned him for the behavior, and he moved off in shame to his bag to pick a different racket. Eventually, he went down with a score of 4-6, 4-6, and 4-6 in the end.
