The Italian tennis player, Fabio Fognini, reached his career-high ranking of world no. 9 in 2019. Besides that, he has taken part in the Wimbledon Championships several times, though he has never gone past the third round.

But that is not significant at the moment, because the Italian player might just not be able to take part in the SW19 at all. Fognini had gone to support his team Inter Milan at the Champion League finals against Manchester City.
