In addition to her publication for New York Magazine, Intelligencer, Conner also took to Twitter to hail the Serb as the “perfect GOAT” in the AI era.

In light of his hard-fought victory against Alcaraz in Cincinnati, she asserted how the 36-year-old has now become a “freakish human algorithm” akin to an AI’s mechanism. Her bold ‘AI’ assertions about the ATP legend caught the attention of his wife, Jelena.

Conner’s Tweet received a cheeky response from the 37-year-old who indrectly mocked her tennis legend husband’s critics for calling him an “oldie”. While expressing her gratitude towards the journalist, Jelena said, “#nottoobad for an oldie 🤭 #Nolefam 🥰 Thanks Caira!”
