Frances Tiafoe has had a mixed 2022 season. Earlier this year, he had a second-round exit at the Australian Open, losing against compatriot Taylor Fritz. Further, he failed to hit top gear in subsequent tournaments before making it to the finals in Estoril. Later, at the French Open, he suffered a similar fate as the Australian Open as he bowed out of the tournament in the second round.

In the recently concluded Wimbledon Championships, Tiafoe produced the best performance of his career at the tournament. He reached the fourth round before going down fighting against David Goffin in a five-set thriller. Recently, he reminisced about his time with his girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield, at Wimbledon.

Frances Tiafoe spends an amazing time with his girlfriend

The 29-year-old took to Instagram to share glimpses of his wonderful time with his girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield. He said, “Amazing last couple weeks w my bae in london and in la. Loved having you watch me compete in arguably our biggest event in tennis. Also loved our down time together this week. See you soon my love. Much needed time. We locked bb.”

Like Tiafoe, Broomfield is a professional tennis player. The two met during the US Open in 2015 when Broomfield watched Tiafoe play. Tiafoe had received a wildcard to play at the tournament. However, he lost in the opening round against Viktor Troicki.

Last month, Tiafoe practiced with Serena in Eastbourne before her comeback. The 23-time Grand Slam champion played doubles with Ons Jabeur at Eastbourne International.

Tiafoe to play in Atlanta

After his Wimbledon 2022 campaign, Tiafoe will participate in ATP 250 Atlanta Open. The hard-court tournament will commence on 25th July.
