For his recent exceptional performances, Carlos has received praises from former world no. 1 Naomi Osaka who said, “I feel like he’s genuinely made everyone excited about the ATP and I haven’t seen that in a very long time.” She is excited to see Carlos play and anticipate what he brings to the court.

Carlos Alcaraz Garfia had a swooshing start to the year 2022, where he has kept his consistency of wins alive on the court. The culmination point of all this was when the Spanish player defeated Casper Ruud to clinch the Miami Open title. He won the Barcelona Open recently too. Before that, he also got an opportunity to play with his role model Rafael Nadal in the semi-finals of the Indian Wells. The player has reached his career-high of being world no. 9. After Barcelona Open; he entered the Top 10 rankings. Interestingly, Rafael Nadal also entered the list of Top 10 at the same age 17 years ago.
