But now those are all past as the 27-year-old Italian tennis star looks forward to rebuilding his career after a series of injury setbacks. He recently secured to get through into the QF of the Grand Prix Hassan II by defeating Spain’s Jaume Munar in a three-set-thriller.

But shortly after his victory in the R16, Berrettini was spotted flaunting his chiseled abs during a practice session in Marrakech, Morocco. Sweat, dust, and determination. How did the fans react to the Matteo Berrettini 2.0?

Berrettini recently posted a clip of his practice session ahead of his QF clash against his compatriot Lorenzo Sonego. And here’s how the fans reacted to a picture of shirtless Matteo Berrettini on X (formerly Twitter). One of the fans put up a ‘fire’ emoji in the comment section of that post with a witty comment.

Matteo Berrettin has missed quite a lot of time from his career due to injuries. So a fitter Berrettini is always a bliss to watch for all his fans as some of them have mentioned.

He further went on to add, “That’s what I lost a little bit [with the] many injuries that I had. I lost the joy for the sport. I lost everything… That’s for me what makes me feel alive.” Matteo Berrettini revealed how his family, girlfriend, and team helped him find a different state of mind during the tough phase of his life.
