Italian ATP star Matteo Berrettini has been making it to the headlines because of his relationship with his former girlfriend. Berrettini has been in a relationship with an Italian model and television personality Melissa Satta since January last year. However, the duo called it off publicly after delighting their fans’s hearts for a year.

Berrettini and Satta’s relationship was the hot topic of news even when the duo broke it up. From accusing Melissa Satta of their break up to Berrettini’s admission of an intense relationship, this former couple stormed social media for quite some time.

In a recent interview with The Sun magazine, Berrettini opened up about Satta. He said– “Melissa Satta and I are no longer together, What I can say is that we had a beautiful, intense relationship, we have great respect for each other. I won’t go beyond this, I don’t like sharing my private life too much.” Despite their long age gap, Berrettini and Satta were spotted as a happy couple when they made it to the public.

This Italian ATP star’s statement helped fans to understand that the couple had a good time when they were together. However, things didn’t work as planned and they split up. Berrettini and Satta haven’t yet disclosed the reason for their fallout. Nevertheless, the Italian ATP star concluded his statement by saying- “Nothing special happened, I must thank her for this period we lived together very intensely despite all the difficulties of the case.” 

Berrettini’s breakup with Satta brought a lot of criticism against the latter on social media. However, the Italian model gracefully handled the situation and finally dropped her statement on Instagram.

Berrettini and Satta’s split truly disappointed the fans. However, one media house took it further and accused the Italian ATP star’s former partner about it. In her response, Satta said– “And here I am, once again forced to assume my self-defence before the court of the media inquisition, without having committed no ‘crime’, nor any connoted behavior from moral reprehensibility. Nothing! This time the press, about my discussed ‘breakup’, not failed to make the news tastier for the obvious purpose of selling some paper copy or earn a few more clicks by defining myself as ‘s** addict’,”

Matteo Berrettini and Melisa Satta’s relationship showcases the ugly side of the media. Despite the couple’s requests, the media almost played a trial about their personal life. Nevertheless, fans wish them both success in their individual life as they wish them to move on in their life.
