Although, as Kyrgios is keeping busy extracting the best out of his peak, he isn’t getting enough time to spend with his mates. The Aussie recently stumbled upon a picture of LeBron James and Draymond Green enjoying the off-season of basketball. That in turn motivated him to recreate the same with fellow tennis professional and friend Thanasi Kokkinakis.

Nick Kyrgios has things planned

The 2022 Wimbledon Championships runner up is currently testing his luck in the hard court of America. Therefore, he is quite tied up in practice sessions and matches. But he has sworn to utilize the free time to its fullest as soon as the season comes to an end. Hence making his plans clear, Kyrgios shared the picture of the basketball legends partying. And wrote, “me and Thanasi Kokkinakis after the Turin.”

Turin will host the ATP finals of this year. The tournament will commence on 13th November and name its winner on 20th November. It’s just a few months’ wait before both the Aussies meet in a non-tennis environment.

Speaking of their partnership on the court. After claiming the Grand Slam title in home against compatriots, Matthew Ebden and Max Purcell, they reigned in Atlanta. The duo took down Jason Kubler and John Peers in straight sets of 7-6 (4) 7-5 to clinch the ATP 250 trophy.

The former world No.13 stepped into the American Grand Slam with a quarterfinal run from the Canadian Master under his name. Over the few months, he has established himself and is currently a threat to the players eyeing the US Open.

Kyrgios, after thrashing Kokkinakis in straight sets at the opening round, outclassed the former world no.44, Benjamin Bonzi, to secure a position in the last 32 of the tournament. Now on 2nd September the 27-year-old will lock horns with American young blood, J.J. Wolf, for a pass to the fourth round.
