In an interview with ESPN, the former US Open champion discussed his possible comeback this year. The 34-year-old made a promise during the 2022 Qatar World Cup that he recalled recently. And he talked about how after the World Cup he also had a possible comeback on his mind.

He said, “If Argentina won the World Cup, I would try to play the US Open. Now Messi and the team put me to train. I still have a lot of pain. Before Qatar I didn’t have it in mind, but now I think about it a lot.” Even though, the tennis star is still dealing with injuries and health problems he is still considering his comeback this year.
