‘Did You Just Put Me on Blast?’ – Former Tennis Player Exposed by Nick Kyrgios at Miami Open 2022

Nick Kyrgios is at the top of his game this year. The Australian tennis star has been a treat to watch this season. He claimed the biggest win of his career this year at the Australian Open. Partnering with compatriot Thanasi Kokkinakis, Kyrgios won the men’s doubles title in the opening Grand Slam of the season. Moreover, the pair had a memorable tournament, where they beat a number of top teams, including the top seeds.

Further, continuing his impressive form this season, Kyrgios dig deep at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells. He defeated Federico Delbonis, Casper Ruud before losing to the Spanish legend, Rafael Nadal in the quarterfinals. Kyrgios is currently plying his trade at the Miami Open, where he has entered the third round in men’s singles. He had a hilarious moment during the post-match interview after his second-round victory.

Nick Kyrgios hilariously exposes Prakash Amritraj during an interview at Miami Open

After his second-round victory over the fifth seed, Andrey Rublev, Kyrgios was interviewed by Prakash Amritraj, where they talked about his performance and his time in Miami. Towards the end of the interview, the Australian spotted Amritraj wearing slippers during the show.

He said, “I got a nice sneaker game. Reminds me a bit of myself. But behind, you can’t see it with your eyes, he’s (Prakash Amritraj’s) wearing slippers.” Bursting into laughter, Amritraj said, “Oh my gosh, did you just put me on blast in front of everyone right now?”

The 26-year-old has dominated his opponents thus far at the second half of the ‘Sunshine Double’. Handed a wildcard entry, Kyrgios defeated the Frenchman, Adrian Mannarino, in the opening round in straight sets 7-6 (3), 6-3.

Further, he caused a massive upset yesterday, defeating the in-form, Andrey Rublev, 6-3, 6-0 in the second round. Kyrgios took no time in dispatching his opponent, completing the match in just 52 minutes.
