During the fifth game of the second set, Hurkacz won his service game in hardly a minute, serving all aces. Further, Hurkacz served 24 aces during his encounter against Karatsev.

Earlier today, Hubert Hurkacz won his pre-quarterfinal match against Lloyd Harris of South Africa. In a match lasting just under an hour and a half, the Hurkacz prevailed in straight sets 7-6 (3), 6-2. In the quarterfinals, he will be up against the top seed, Daniil Medvedev.
