Nicolas Jarry recently achieved his personal best in the Miami Open. The Chilean player has contested in the tournament four times and has reached the third round of the tournament for the first time. As he won his clash against Thiago Seyboth Wild, the crowd joined him in celebration, and so did his wife, as she enjoyed his win in a much calmer manner.

During the clash, the crowd went wild at many moments. Wild and Jarry had a great bout, but it led to some controversy near the end as the Chilean player argued with the umpire. However, now, he can celebrate his victory.

Wife celebrates Nicolas Jarry’s win with a drink

The clash between Jarry and Wild began with the Brazilian player taking a set. Tensions were high as the 28-year-old looked to achieve a better result in the second half of the Sunshine Doubles. He went on to win the match, and the crowd cheered for his victory. After his win, his wife, Laura Urruti, shared a few posts on her Instagram page, which showed her gratefulness to the fans and her celebration.

The first post showed a video of fans holding out their things for Jarry to sign. Along with the video, she shared the caption, “Thank you, thank you to everyone who came today. What a nice day.” She also shared a video of the reaction of the crowd as one fan cheered loudly, took off his t-shirt, and covered his face with red paint. This genius who writes to me“, she wrote along with the video.

She then added a story with Jarry as both held up a drink, with the caption, “Salud“, with the flag of Brazil. While his wife celebrated calmly, the crowd was wild and made their happiness known as Jarry won and would then go on to argue with the umpire.

Crowd goes wild after Jarry’s win

As Wild shot the backhand out, Jarry won the clash and raised his hands to his side to celebrate his win. The crowd cheered loudly, reminding viewers at home of a soccer match. While Jarry was elated with his victory, he went ahead to argue with the chair umpire. Fans online speculated that he felt impartial treatment from the umpire, which is why he argued.

One fan talked about an instance of the umpire lambasting Jarry for going to the towel section while he said nothing to Wild for going many times. Another fan said that the umpire forced Jarry to serve while the crowd was loud but waited for them to calm down while Wild was serving. Regardless of the mishaps, Jarry and his wife can celebrate the victory and look forward to facing Casper Ruud.
