Stefanos Tsitsipas, hoping to put on a display of his own, found himself exiting in the first round of the Miami Open. His performance against Denis Shapovalov was nothing to write home about. After the loss, many noticed certain aspects of the Greek’s behavior, which showed that he was likely not up for the challenge.

Once a regular in the top 10 of the ATP, Tsitsipas has fallen far from grace and is out of the top 10 for the first time since 2019. And there seems to be no end to his decline. His performance against Shapovalov, more so, worried fans regarding his future; losing 6-2, 6-4 to the current ATP number 126.

One fan shared a video of Tsitsipas during a changeover, as he looked highly fatigued. Along with it, they wrote, “I don’t want to act as a defender Stef and make excuses, but I don’t understand all the criticism he got after this match. It was obvious that Stef was feeling very unwell and was in no condition to play a difficult match. How often do we see him like this during changeover?
