But to everyone?s surprise, he was able to find a silver lining and a reason that would allow him to stay for longer at Wimbledon.

While the loss to Broady was undoubtedly disappointing, Ruud’s focus was already shifting to his upcoming doubles match. The prospect of staying in the city and attending The Weeknd’s concert provided him with extra motivation.

After his match, he was asked about his plans for the next day and if he would be interested in going to The Weeknd concert. To which he responded, ?It?s tomorrow, so maybe. I think I have doubles tomorrow. So actually I have a good excuse to stay. I think I might try to catch the show, yes.?

Even though his Wimbledon championship journey might have ended with losing the second round against Liam Broady, Casper has another excuse to continue to stay in London and that is the Weeknd.

Not the first time Casper would be attending the Weeknd concert
