Hollywood Star Ben Stiller Pumped Up After Diego Schwartzman Sets Up Stefanos Tsitsipas Clash at Monte Carlo Masters 2022

Diego Schwartzman is entering the favorite part of the season. The 29-year-old Argentinian tennis star relishes playing on clay as his style of play suits the slowest surface. Moreover, he has had impressive results in clay-court tournaments over his career. In 2020, the former World Number 8 reached the semifinals of the French Open, losing to the eventual champion, Rafael Nadal, in the last-four clash.

Earlier in the same season, he had also finished as the second-best to Novak Djokovic at the Italian Open. Last year, Schwartzman made it to the quarterfinals at Roland Garros.

Schwartzman is currently participating at the Monte Carlo Masters 1000 in Monaco. He has entered the quarterfinals and earned praise from one of his renowned fans following his come-from-behind, 2-6, 6-4, 6-3 thrilling win over Lorenzo Musetti.

The Argentine tennis star earned praise from the Hollywood actor after his eye-catching performances at the tournament in Monaco. Taking to Twitter, Ben Stiller said, “Vamos [Diego Schwartzman]”

Further, Schwartzman’s bromance with Stiller goes a long way. The American actor is a great fan of him and Rafael Nadal and often attends their matches. Last year, after Schwartzman prevailed over Kevin Anderson at the US Open, he met with Stiller, who was in attendance to witness his match, and clicked pictures with him.

This year too, Ben Stiller caught up with Schwartzman and Nadal at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells. Stiller, who is a big fan of tennis, enjoys watching Nadal and Schwartzman play.

As far as Schwartzman’s run at this year’s Monte Carlo Masters so far is concerned, he defeated Karen Khachanov in the opening round. Further, he overcame the challenge of Marton Fucsovics and Lorenzo Musetti in the second and the third round, respectively. In the quarterfinals, the Argentine will be up against the third seed and the defending champion, Stefanos Tsitsipas.
