In a recent press conference ahead of the Monte Carlo Masters, rising star Jannik Sinner explained why Monaco holds a special place in the hearts of tennis players. Sinner, being accustomed to the environment of the place, highlighted the unique elements that make Monaco an ideal destination for tennis professionals.

The Italian expressed, “Monaco is very good for us tennis players. Here, you have great privacy, and you feel safe. Throughout the year, the setup is excellent. There are many gyms on-site, clay courts, and numerous players to practice with. It’s amazing to live here.”

His statement highlighted the convenience and comfort that Monaco offers to players amidst their busy tournament schedules. Despite spending most of his time traveling for competitions, Sinner revealed that Monaco remains a welcoming haven for him. “I’m here only three-four months because the rest of the time, we travel a lot and play tournaments. But when I come back, I always feel good here,” he added.

As the Italian tennis champ is set to be a part of the action in Monaco soon enough, it still remains to be seen if the comfort and the homely feeling are reflected in his performance on the clay courts.
