Roger Federer has been exploring the heights of brand collaborations ever since he started to make wonders in the tennis world. Even after years of retirement, he still continues to sail on the same boat, but with better brands and ideas approaching him to be on their side and hit the targets of captivating mass audiences. In collaboration with world-renowned fashion giants, the former tennis pro came up with another update after hitting the “Tenniscore” trend.
The Swiss tennis maestro is all set to join forces with Uniqlo and JW Anderson to launch a fresh line of genderless clothing. Blending his classic style with modern sportswear, the tennis star recently appeared in a teaser to make a grand announcement about the upcoming capsule. The clip, released by Uniqlo’s official social media handle, garnered immense attention from the fans. The collection of “versatile sportswear” is designed by JW Anderson.
This update came out months after the collection was announced to roll out. The collaboration rolled out a range of versatile pieces, including a fleece zip jacket with a stylish breast pocket, a cozy lambswool crewneck sweater, and nylon easy pants designed in consideration of both comfort and mobility. Uniqlo’s signature Dry Ex polo shirt, which is known for its moisture-absorbing properties, will also be included alongside a padded park jacket and a multipurpose sports bag.

Although the teaser video that showcased Federer on the court with his trademark smile didn’t give out much of it, it remains to be seen what else is yet to unfold. However, besides the players contributing to the Tenniscore trend, the fashion fever has now advanced to the big screen.

It hasn’t been long since famous Hollywood celebrity Zendaya appeared as teenage tennis player Tashi Duncan in her movie ‘Challengers’. Besides the love for the sport, the triangular relationships, and everyone else that the movie portrayed, one thing that the enthusiasts loved for sure was the trendy fashion that the protagonist was seen flaunting in.
