Though there has not been any confirmation yet, apparently Federer is going to meet some old friends. It is none other than Jennie and Rose of the renowned K-pop girl group Blackpink.

Now, fans may have to brace for another meeting between two members of Blackpink and Federer once again.

The Swiss Maestro is definitely not trying to hide his excitement in co-chairing the Met Gala 2023. He is certainly going to be one of the most sought-after celebrities on the red carpet.

Apart from him, we are also going to see two members of Blackpink, Rose and Jennie, making their Met Gala debut. There is a huge chance that the two would meet Federer once again.

In January, Federer met the girl band along with the other two members, Lisa and Jisoo. Interestingly, Federer’s children advised him to upload the picture he took with them on Instagram. It proved to be a prudent decision, as the post garnered the attention of the entire sports world.

Their picture amassed a whopping 2 million likes on Instagram. It left many of his fans baffled, including the American teenage sensation Coco Gauff who asked him if he was a Blink. Blink is the name of Blackpink’s fandom.
