Things haven’t gone according to Daniil Medvedev‘s plans this year. At the Australian Open, he suffered a heartbreaking defeat in the final against Jannik Sinner. Further, he is yet to win a title in 2024 and enters the clay-court season empty-handed. Recently, another unfortunate incident occurred with the Russian tennis star.

Medvedev is in Monaco where he is playing in the Monte Carlo Masters. In the second-round clash against Gael Monfils, a couple of calls went against him. As a result, he had a heated outburst for the chair umpire and wasn’t happy with the line judges. During the changeover, he made his feelings clear in a strong way. The video of Medvedev’s outburst with the chair umpire went viral on social media and thousands of fans reacted to it.

One fan was tired of the drama at tennis matches. The comment took a strong aim at the tournament, which read, “Monte-Carlo has no more money to equip Foxtenn? Or they need more drama to get impressions?”
