Roger Federer delays his much-awaited Laver cup comeback
The Swiss superstar, Federer revealed in August last year that he had undergone a third knee operation as a result of suffering a fourth injury during the grass-court season. But, there are rumours that he might not make it to the Laver’s cup this year as he is not fully recovered from the injury and his fans have to wait a little longer to see their legend play in full form.
As per sources, he might be present in the match but if the rumors are accurate, it wouldn’t be a good idea to compete. According to Laver Cup rules, they need to play at least one singles and one doubles to keep their name in the tournament. Roger was the first member chosen for Team Europe and he would be devastated to have been left out. He was supposed to take part alongside the Big four in the Laver cup. He was supposed to play with his arch nemesis, Rafael Nadal. After 2019, this would be the first time when both of the top tennis players would be seen on the same court.
